V-Cone Flowmeter Leak- 2012

A leak was present in the welded connection of the impulse pipe exterior to the 24mm alignment threads on the connection of the flow meter. Prior to the operation the leak was estimated at 10LPH at 130 Bar static. And 30 LPH at 130 Bar injecting measured at 311m water depth.
Leak description

A large leak was confirmed to exist in a ¼ control line fitting at the penetrator head entering into the wellhead from the SCM with a major Operator in the North Sea.

Leak description

A leak was confirmed with a major Operator in The North Sea. The leak existed in the 9-5/8” x 5 ½” production annulus. Diagnostic during the procedure generated an estimate leak location based on N2 Injection into C annulus while measuring total volume returned from the B annulus indicated a leak between 75’- 146’ possibly a connection leak at both points. Perhaps leaks at both places.
Leak description

New Tubing installed in well for major operator in The North Sea. During installation test leakage between upper/lower tubing hanger ( leakage between tubing and TST annulus) were observed and verified. Leakage assumed to be in the connection of share nipple (7” 29# Vam Top,25Cr) between hangers.

Leak description

A leak was confirmed with a major North Sea Operator UK sector. The leak existed in the 9-5/8” CSG HGR Void Area. Initial diagnostic determined a 400 ml per minute leak rate at 3000psig while pumping directly into the void.
